To seperate the VDSL2 signal from the telephone requires either a VDSL splitter in the NID or filters at each telephone. Usually the DSL service provider will install provide a VDSL2 modem , cables, and xDSL filters. Using a splitter / NID may cost a little more but the performance is ALWAYS better than using DSL filters.
